Jack Toye is drinking a Brandy (Single Variety Norfolk Perry) by Whin Hill at Untappd at Home
Happy Ridiculously Good Perry Monday with this new single variety from Whin Hill. I’m informed this is a wild ferment, full juice Perry using Brandy perry pears from their orchard in Stanhoe. Beautiful stuff! Mild Bittersharp, light effervescence. 🍐#rgpm

Jack Toye is drinking a Dabinett Kingston Black 2022 Oak Cask by Ross on Wye Cider & Perry at Untappd at Home
A checkin-from last night. Second time trying this beautiful cider. Doesn’t need to be chilled that much, the juicy apple and oak aroma really open up as it warms in the glass. One to keep coming back to (as long as stock allows) to watch it ageing 🍎😍

Jack Toye is drinking a Summer Breeze Norfolk Cider by Whin Hill at Untappd at Home
A revisit to this refreshing Discovery & Jonagold blend. I think once the sun finally comes out for a prolonged period of time, this will fly off the shelves. Nice level of acidity and natural sweetness at a decent abv.

Jack Toye is drinking a Bramley Apple Cider by Ross on Wye Cider & Perry at Untappd at Home
From last night. Another new 500ml bottle from Ross. Great to see Bramley being given the single variety treatment as it works so well as an acid-forward cider. Very clean, but the time in the barrel and bottle has mellowed the more aggressive acidity.🍏

A further Happy Ridiculously Good Perry Monday! This is the second batch of Thorn from the 2019 season, and what a remarkable effect time has bestowed on this perry. BBQ Lime Skin, pear drop, rye crust, all sorts of acid and tannin interwoven 🍐 #rgpm
