Hop Rocket

First brewed in 2013, our latest edition commemorates the 50th Anniversary of the Apollo 11 mission to the moon. The Hop Rocket will be launched with Apollo hops in the boil. To commemorate the “Columbia” command module of Apollo 11, we will add Columbus hops, along with Centennial (to mark the half-century). A late hopping of Comet and Chinook will see the Hop Rocket off to the fermentation tank, where a generous dry-hopping of Amarillo, Citra and Simcoe (representing the three-man crew of Apollo 11) will add classic American pine and citrus notes to this 4.3% Session IPA.
