You'd never think that a vegetable would make a great cider but, if that vegetable is rhubarb, it does. The tartness mellows out during fermentation and finishes with a light pink hue. We're fortunate to operate our cidery in the great community of Kingfield as the rhubarb came from a farm just down the street. This cider was named after a resident of the farm from which we acquired the veggie. Who just so happens to be a beautiful golden retriever. She's a good girl.
