An 8yr old bottle I’ve kept in my fridge to test aging and the different vintages as years past. Still just as good as I remember. Carbonation remains, no off flavors.

Nose hits right away with alcohol and heavy malt sweetness. Drinks much lighter than most would have indicated. Very little carbonation but lively alcohol sting. Sweet and boozy, oak helps balance out.

Lots of oak in the nose and flavor. Smooth and a hazy light brown. A little caramel followed by a boozy punch. Booze is a bit overpowering.

Fantastic. Super drinkable and aged to perfection. The hoppy bitterness has mellowed out, the malt sweetness has integrated and the ABV seems to be half of what it is. Subtle caramel and vanilla notes.
