The Harvest (2017)

This year we continue our tradition of utilising fresh hops from nearby Rostrevor hop farm. These beloved little flowers are harvested around March time and the usually dried, pelleted and refrigerated for use throughout the year. By picking and brewing on the same day we create a 'Fresh Hop' or 'Wet Hop' beer. A simple malt base lets the truck load of hops added to this beer sing. By monitoring trial varieties from previous years and keeping tabs on this year's crop we have hand selected 2 varieties and blended them in equal parts.You will notice the distinct signature 'green' aroma and taste from the wet hops.
