The Ambassador: Magical Darkness (Barrel Series 2023)

The untimely passing of our friend, August, will forever change who we are as individuals and as a company. To honor our great friend, we have created a new series that will continue as long as we continue to brew. Every year, Zack and Stefan taste every barrel-aged beer and choose the one they think August would have liked the most.

This year, Stefan and Zack brewed this beer with the purpose of being 2023's Ambassador. August loved imperial stouts and dungeons and dragons. Taking a tried-and-true recipe, Stefan and Zack tripled it, added cold brew coffee and espresso, and then let it age for 6 months in an Elijah Craig barrel. It boasts dark roast and creaminess with just enough whiskey to tie it all together. Show Less
