Not a bad brew. Light bodied for a stout but pleasant elements of roasty chocolate/coffee with some dark fruit mid mouth. A light burnt taste comes in near the backend before a pleasant earthy bitterness.
Not bad at all. Pleasantly sweet throughout with citrus, caramel and hints of toasty breadiness and some nuttiness. The bitterness at the back end is somewhat big, cancelling out flavours. Not an overpowering bitterness but everything else hits a wall.Earned the Going on Safari (Level 58) badge!
Brewed by Wild Clover for Louis57beer.com. SA golfer Louis Oosthuizen has his own line of beer. This is a pleasant drinker for sure, crackery/bready malts, some fruit sweetness and a nice bitterness to it.
