The story goes that twin 'beerded' brothers, Thomas and Charles, set out to find the great inland sea of Australia, Lake Eyre. Ensuring they stowed plenty of Pale Ale for their journey into the scorching centre, they soon had no choice but to stay put and let the water find them. This Pale Ale is the lead beer of the Steamrail range, picking up a Bronze medal at the 2016 Royal Adelaide Beer Awards & Silver Medal at Australian International Beers Awards 2018.

The Gold Digger Golden Ale is named after the story of the gold swindling dame from the gold rush days in 1873 who would grace the local bars, wooing gold from her victims by tempting them with one too many of the finest local golden ales. It’s a smooth, rich golden beer brewed using specialised German coloured malt resulting in a golden honey colour.

A light coloured Golden Ale brewed with wheat and red malts. Bitterness and aroma is achieved using the citrus and floral US Cascade hop and the intense passionfruit and citrus galaxy hop. Read Less

Legend has it that back in 1864 an English settler landed on the northern coast of Western Australia to find his new home abundant with opportunity. With only the clothes on his back, and a pint of Amber Ale in his grasp, he gazed out at the endless land before him and considered himself the luckiest man alive. Brewed in small batches to produce true, delicious tasting, craft beer, this ale is aptly named ‘Lucky Amber’ in honour of this legend.
