This crisp, sparkling cider uses apples sourced exclusively from traditional orchards of standard trees.

It features the Rambo apple, blended with other traditional varieties such as Boskoop, Bohnapfel, Porzenapfel, Luxemburger Triumpf and Luxemburger Renette.

Ramborn Cider Co. works with over 100 farmers to plant, maintain, and revive these orchards, along with the rich heritage of cider-making in and around Luxembourg. Read Less

We have taken some of our Luxembourgish cider and infused it with American-grown whole-cone Cascade hops. Cascade hails from Oregon in the USA’s Pacific Northwest. First released in 1971, it is loved by craft brewers the world over for its signature citrus/floral aroma.

We specially selected a base cider to bring out the full characteristics of Cascade, which in turn compliments the crisp acidity of our traditional cider apples. Read Less

Ramborn Farmhouse is a tribute to the way cider (or ‘viez’) has been made in this part of the world for centuries – it’s a very dry, almost wine-like cider with a distinctive, refreshing sharpness.

In the 2015 harvest, we wanted to explore some of Luxembourg’s forgotten orchards.

As part of this exploration, we stumbled upon two neighbouring orchards that were home to 82 dierent apple varieties. When it came to pressing the apples, we kept their juice separate; we were curious to see what sort of cider they would make. Fermented with selected white wine yeast, the resulting cider has been expertly blended to create the fine still cider you find in this bottle.

Pair with a minerally goat’s cheese to bring out Avalon’s wine-like characteristics, or a stronger, aged cow’s cheese to compliment the more cidery notes. Read Less
