"Could we make a wine like beer without wine or grapes?" That was the essential question behind Deepfake. The Result? A lightly kettle-soured saison, heavily dry-hopped with mostly NZ varieties (Nelson Sauvin Wai-iti) known to have grape-like qualities they also added oak cubes to the boil to add some tannins before finally fermenting with french saison yeast - a strain which also creates some wine like esters. A bright and juicy little hop banger brewed with rye malt and bucketloads of citrussy American hops.

It was fermented with a traditional Norwegian farmhouse yeast ("kveik") which gives it a spicy, fruity character, then we added a pinch of sea salt to create a spritzy, refreshing beer.

We hope it takes you to your happy place, too.


Malt: pale, rye malt, oats, dark crystal.

Hops: Centennial & Citra (plus others)

Yeast: Voss kveik, Simonaitis
