FJORD is a heavy, fruity, estery DIPA from our Microcosms range. The art in this series is inspired by Nature and pays homage to the beautiful fractals and patterns Nature provides. Nature also provides us with the raw ingredients to bring to life experimental brews like Fjord. Those funky esters you are picking up on aren’t from tardy practices. They come from the Norwegien kveik (yeast) we used to ferment out this brew and give it its deep complexity. Kveik is a traditional farmhouse yeast that has many strains and is making a bit of noise in the brewing industry because of its ability to ferment warm and provide interesting and complex flavour profiles. We find, as we learn more about this particular strain, that it tends to compete with the dry hops a little and can even dominated the hops when super fresh. But as time goes on and this beer matures in the can, the massive New Zealand hop bill starts to shine. It’s super exciting for our team to learn and experiment with this yeast and it’s part of our commitment to bring you new and varied experiences. We’ll leave it up to you to discover the finer details of the aroma and taste. As always, we recommend to keep big hoppy IPAs like this cold and drink them fresh. All beers are not made equal and neither should they be - that’s the beauty and freedom of craft beer! Cheers!

We used the super haze Verdant yeast and lavish additions of Nectaron (NZ) and Simcoe (US) for the dry hopping. SEA is crisp New England IPA brewed with Maris Otter extra pale barley, wheat, oats and an addition of chit malt. Rather than using a "heavy-on-the-haze" yeast, we fermented this brew out on kölsch yeast. We've experimented with this a few times now and reckon it gives a lovely crisp beer and lets the hops shine through. We added Waimea (NZ) hops in the whirlpool and dry hopped with Rakau (NZ) and Sabro cryo (US), which impart loads of fruity notes. Our resident designer Emily Stevens explores more muted tones and dialed back artwork - which we are calling LAND-SEA-SKY. Welcome to the HIGH COAST! Another far out place right here in Sweden. This creation is an extra pale DIPA brewed with super haze London Fog yeast. Lavishly dry hopped with the sought-after Riwaka (NZ) and Simcoe Cryo (US). Whirlpool backbone created with Southern Cross (NZ) and Waimea (NZ). The Waimea was added for the piney notes, reminiscent of the forests of the High Coast.

GREAT SOUTHERN LAND is a tribute to the hops of the south and our mates from Australia. This beer was created to be bold and brash! It's a New England packed with Galaxy (Aus) and Motueka (NZ) in the dry hop and whirlpooled with Southern Cross (NZ). Verdant IPA yeast, wheat and oats give this brew it's haze and body. Throw another shrimp on the barbie mate... and revel in that great southern feeling!
