I'm getting chocolate on the nose, but also coffee and faint hints of orange. The orange comes through in the flavour, along with the chocolate (no coffee though...) Smooth, well-balanced. Very nice!

Smoke is subtle on the nose, but definitely there. Soft, creamy mouthfeel. The flavour has the toastiness of a Vienna Malt, permeated with smoke. I might have liked a little more smokiness, but I won't quibble: this was a wonderful beer!

Hazy straw in appearance. Tropical fruit nose. The flavour's tropical fruit as well, with just a hint of citrus.

Caramel on the nose, with little evidence of hops. You can taste the presence of hops, though. Despite the description saying"a slight alcohol warmth", I really don't get it, which is somewhat surprising for 9.3% ABV! A nice effort.
