LCI Well worth the trouble of finding. I do remember the original Pompey Royal and this is an absolutely glorious resurrection of this wonderful beer. Such a lovely chestnut colour draws you to the first sip. This is so balanced with a real malty richness

A lovely traditional bitter, malty caramel along with a lasting bittersweet finish. It’s been quite a while since my last Pompey Royal, by both the previous brewers. Nice to see it again and in such fine form too.
