Oden is the important god of wisdom, power and war. Sitting on his throne in Valhalla, he wants to know everything and gain knowledge of all things hidden from him. He gave up one of his eyes in the pursuit of wisdom. His ravens, Hugin & Munin, fly all over Midgård collecting information for him.

This pale golden coloured lager has a touch of malt sweetness that balances well with the floral, citrus and bitter tones from the hops.

Great to drink by itself or with most foods - seafood, schnitzel and spicy foods. Read Less

This is our collaboration beer with the excellent Bryggverket, Umeå.

Mimir is the wisest of the Aesir gods. He was beheaded by the Vanir tribe. Oden placed his head on a branch of Yggdrasil where it continued to provide advice and counsel. Oden even sacrificed an eye to Mimir to take a drink from his well.

Mimir is a copper coloured, medium bodied English ale with some malt sweetness, a little caramel and fruity character.
Pairs great with roast chicken, fish & chips and cheddar cheese. Read Less

Brewed with Kris & Emily from Brewdog Kungsholmen, Stockholm. 4,2% ABV. Style: "Swedish Bitter" Malt: Warbro Kvarn heirloom organic Balder malt, Caramunich, Chocolate, Carafa and Oats.
Hops: Jester & Mystic.
Yeast: Old English (WHC Lab, Ireland).
Colour: Copper with cream coloured head.
Aroma: Malty, little caramel with a fruity, resinous character.
Taste: Biscuity with some caramel/toffee notes. Fruity - blackcurrant with some citrus. Resinous. Bitterness which is nicely balanced with the malt sweetness. Medium bodied with low carbonation.
Interesting to know: Balder malt is a locally produced organic heirloom malt which we buy from Warbro Kvarn. It was popular in the 1940s and 50s but got forgotten during the age of mass production. Big breweries were only interested in cheaper less flavoursome malts. We think it adds a richer taste and more aromatic notes to the beer. Read Less

The classic German Helles style was the inspiration for this unfiltered lager beer. We used Warbro Balder malt and wanted to highlight it’s complex malty and slightly sweet taste.
It balances well with the floral, slightly citrus and grapefruit tones that the hops contribute.
