Nice to actually share my homebrew with people again! Someone said it had an aroma like vanilla, (but not taste) lol Carmelly, something almost reminiscent of apples. Something undefinable, lol

(Yesterday) Blonde ale homebrew is finally finished and ready to drink. It's pretty good, and J likes it a lot, so maybe it was worth the wait! :) Not too malty, but smooth flavor. This b&b has pillows and faux furs everywhere, lol

It's a bit malty, but still very light tasting. I like it, but it seems a bit like it could've been the beer that the Bud light commercials in the 90s were making fun of: "If we wanted water... We'd ASK for water!"

Honestly, seems like a good porter, but I'm really not getting any of the cinnamon-vanilla-orange peel. I'm sure they contribute to the overall flavor, but I'm not picking any of them up. Decent porter though.

(early sampling)... I think I may have been successful... Tastes nice, even though it's 4.3%. I'm happy with it, so far. J: Dark honey on nose, like barley honey. Citrus backing, but mild.

Not too bad. A bit malty. Def drinkable. I wanted to try making a low ABV beer. J: "Smells like glazed donuts. Malty donuts." For taste, he's says "hint of sourness, summer sausage aftertaste." (Smoky I guess?)

Finally created an entry to check it in! The name is in honor of the lightning fast fermentation time, and the waiting I did for a certain job offer while making this..! It's a decent, run-of-the-mill stout. Has that "homebrew" flavor tho (is it yeast?)

Nice colour. Decent head retention. Nice Belgian aroma. Slight sweet on the taste. A light on banana flavour. Malty on the back.
