This thing benefitted from an extra month in the fridge. The spice has rounded out wonderfully and more of that orange comes through.

Dry, warm, slightly boozy finish. Decent balance, but still kinda malt heavy. Lil sweet but plenty of pine-y hop bite.

Sweet. Orange-something. Bannana. I get a lingering spice note that sits in my throat. Well carbonated. This is excellent. Well done.

Ya did a good job Hauk & sons! Knocked it outta the park with the first swing of the bat. We need a flock of this.

It’s nice and spicy and I think some of that sweet orange-y citrus shines through. It looks great, and I might be biased, but it’s a gud wuh

Steven Honk: You got it! Might wanna be around today or tomorrow. Small batch, so it’s not making it through the weekend!
Dylan Bowker: Oh ok, I’ll see if I can come by tomorrow. My dad and I are brewing that Stone Pale tomorrow too.
Steven Honk: Fuck yeah, buddy. I might bring one to ya if you don’t mind me crashing that party.

I'm not too sure about this one.The finish has this.. metallic thing going on.Rebrand this one as a scotch ale,and you might move sum units.

Roasty sweet nose.Drinks like a good scotch ale,but an awful RIS. Too thin, not enough malt character w/acidity being the only hint @ coffee
Earned the Home Brewed Goodness badge!Nicholus B.: Ouch. Take it easy on yourself! Haha.. That's alright. It was your first attempt. Go back to the drawing board, and come back with vengeance
Nicholus B.: Also, good call on the name. 👍

Beer #2 This is more similar to a scotch ale. Boozy nose, thin mouthfeel, acidity and vanilla suggests coffee.

Well done. I'd put this in the (A) category for first time home brew. Never off putting, and it tastes like beer. Notfilteringwasanicetouch.

First brew. High carbonation, more fruity than hoppy. Earthy aroma. Off putting color, though. Cheers!

My first attempt at homebrew is finally ready. Mild success. Fruity nose followed up with no lack of familure hop bitterness. Unfiltered.
