Lime is the real hero of this beer. The peel was used in the boil and the combination of purée and juice was used in the fermenter. Milk sugar and vanilla was added to impart a sweet balance to the tartness from the lime. Then this beer was heavily dry-hopped with Equanot and Wai-iti both of which have citrusy flavor and aromatic qualities. Lastly spirulina, an organic algae powder high in vitamins, was added to complete this monstrous 8% ABV “Hopsicle IPA”. Read Less
