Has a sour, almost spoiled apple note under the bourbon and oak. Ends on regular apple cider. Not thrilled. Did a tasting before buying... Maybe it needs to breathe? ETA: yes. Goes up from an unpleasant glass to a slightly off glass with time & air.

Sounds like I'd hate it, but absolutely don't. The cinnamon is a mild additional note in an oaky, crisp apple cider. There a bit of flat, doughy flavor at the end, but otherwise this is surprisingly enjoyable.

When I popped the bottle cap, there wasn't a lot of pressure to it. Then, on first sip, this tasted more like apple wine than cider. I'm guessing the seal wasn't great on the top. That said, as apple wine, this is nice! I can't really rate it as cider.
