Incredible carbonation. Actually looks like a champagne, the carbonation is lovely. Carbonic bite, but incredibly refreshing. Nice fruity tartness. Ends very dry.

Overall it’s been easy to be critical of Berliner weisse as a style, but now that I’ve tried the original, I should go back and increase all my other ratings. Drinkable without syrup but I can see why it’s added. Scheiße
