A secession is when young pioneers artistically migrate from the "old country" to create a new one. So what would this taste like in a beer? We use the classic vienna malt for a flavour that is as elegant as Vienna architecture. We use modern Centennial and Mosaic hops to make this beer as colourful as a Gustav Klimt painting. The beer is meant to be easy drinking and refreshing. The yeast that we use gives the beer citrus and peppery notes. Finally, we paired it up with a lot of aroma hops. The result is a perfect beer for every sunny day.

The Pink Future series is our journey in the wonderful world of hops, a series of beers where we showcase a new hop for every new beer.

Our first hop is Mosaic, a modern American hop named after the kaleidoscope of flavours it brings to the table. Mango, berries, papaya, pine and watermelon are just some of the flavours people have pointed out. What does it taste like to you? Read Less

Do you remember your first? Because we sure do. Our first IPA tasted like no beer we had before. It tasted of pure hops, with a piney bitterness and a bready and caramel body that worked together to bring balance.

Beers seem to have gotten a lot more complex since then. But we never forgot our first.. So we decide to resurrect the West Coast IPA. Like all our beers we brewed it with a modern twist. The result is this infinitely drinkable hoppy beer that makes you long for simpler times.

Alexis is a proud member of our giraffe family, with citrusy flavour from the Simcoe hops and the herbal notes from Loral hops. Based on the famous German heritage barley malt Alexis.

Giraffes typically don’t drink too much water. Probably they drink more beer. Did you know that the average giraffe tongue is 40cm long? Imagine how much beer tasting they can do!

Giraffes are also really social animals – they live in groups of around 15 giraffes and they also have excellent eyesight. Probably to spot beer from far away in the bar.
