Roasted malt, chocolate with orange zest, zippy hops race across the palate (not sure how else to describe it), a little bit of a pure dark chocolate bitterness in the finish, not sure if I got the essence completely but it's unique and I like it

Estery notes up front, melded with the dark aspects of a black IPA. Lightly grassy and floral, with citrus notes. Roasty aspect lingers into finish. Interesting style, well-executed.

Burnt toast and dark roast up front with a hint of coffee. Sweet up front followed by lingering bitterness (laying more than a minute past the sip). Clean, well-brewed Czech Dark Lager.
