Betty's Ale is a Golden Ale made to commemorate a golden lady. Betty, who was affectionately know as "Bet" or "Captain Izzy" was one of the first women in Eastern PEI to Captain her own fishing boat. A touch lobster lady who loved a high pair of pumps and a good beer on a Saturday night. She was a single mom with a heart the size of PEI and the best doggone biscuit maker this side of Kings County.

Betty's Ale supports the PEI Business Women's Association Micro-Grant program, which is designed to help new, growing, and established women entrepreneurs though a non-repayable grant and business skills support. Read Less
