Lefties pours with a moderate haze, muting an otherwise vibrant orange hue. A dense but short-lived head dissipates with aromas of orange, mango and lemonade, leaving behind a fine effervescent carbonation. A pillowy and creamy mouthfeel comfortably carries a moderate and piney bitterness, with flavours of pithy orange, candied citrus and pine present in abundance.
The bright hop profile in Lefties comes courtesy of fresh, Oregon grown Strata hops, offering up an abundance of tropical fruit character thanks to heavy-handedness in both kettle and fermenter. Old school Simcoe adds piney and grassy characters while some gentle overripe stone fruit esters also add fruity complexity to this bold East Coaster, all while cleverly hiding its 7.5 percent ABV.
Lefties is a brewing feat; with its high alcohol, excessive hops, haze, thick mouthfeel and residual sweetness it should be big, brash & a little scary, but it isn’t. It’s balanced, measured & cleverly drinkable despite its bold character. Read Less

We teamed up with our friends at Hawkers and The Dutch Trading Co - DTC to brew a beer for Dankfest 2021!
Considering the success both breweries have had with West Coast IPA, Hawkers won the IPA trophy and Cheeky Monkey took out a gold at the last AIBAs, it was a no brainer to make a stripped back, real ol' school West Coast IPA.
It's clean, punchy and bitter. Chock full of Amarillo and Simcoe, we will see lifted aromas of vibrant geranium and bright citrus, backed with a huge pine vibe.
It's everything we want in a West Coast IPA, made with some of the best people in the business.

LIFT OFF….Major Tom to ground control, we stepped through the door and slammed Space Oddity Imperial IPA with Chinook, Simcoe, Talus, Idaho 7 and Sabro.

This IIPA is unlike any fruit basket you’ve ever tasted….Half time oranges from mum, resinous, pineapple & apricot, fresh cut stone fruit & candied peaches. This is truly a creation that blows anyone’s mind and taste buds into another galaxy!

Golden copper with a little haze in appearance, Major Tom has created a very balanced IIPA with a moderate to full mouth feel. While the maltbill has left a relatively dry beer. The tropical and citrus notes from the new world variety of hops adds perceived sweetness that leaves every extra terrestrial wanting more as they sit back and launch off into space!
