Once a summer seasonal from our Margaret River Brewery in Western Australia’s South West, but now a year-round favourite. Pale, Wheat and Munich malts build a light body with a hint of sweetness and we partially ferment this with a natural acidifying bacteria in the brewhouse. Ale yeast completes the job in the fermentation tank, adding a little extra fruitiness to boot. Hops from both hemispheres provide a vibrant tropical aroma, but with low bitterness to keep this golden sour light and refreshing. Read Less

Using all American Hops with Mosaic in the brewhouse then double dry hopped with both Idaho 7 and El Dorado. The home of our cold press cider is in Bertie Street Melbourne, in the very same building that once produced that staple of showbags across Australia, the Bertie Beetle chocolate treat. Those are some tiny shoes to fill. But our Bertie does it with ease. It’s why we use only Victorian apples, which are hand-picked and cold-pressed to create a crisp, delicious cider that’s big on taste. And it’s why we use the same apples we eat at home, like Red Galas and Sundowners. There’s no added sugar because true apple cider shouldn’t taste like apple cordial with booze and bubbles. The first release of our market series has undergone a more extensive sharing process than our core south-west sour, with a natural lactobacillus bacteria. Once fully soured, the batch was spiked with fresh lime and coriander seed in the Brewhouse. It then underwent the conventional fermentation, before cucumber and Juniper additions, which round out the flavour profile. A small gift of Australian grown Galaxy was then added as a dry hop to complement the real fruit with hop derived fruit notes. The result is a vibrantly refreshing and Berlina-style south, layered with fruit and spice. Read Less

So we’re making beer from sunshine.

To celebrate this we’ve done an in-house brew comp, and the winning beer has got canned. Gone Green is our biggest hopped beer to date, featuring luscious stone fruit character from NZ Rakau and bitter resin and citrus from US grown Amarillo & Simcoe. A light malt body supports the huge juicy hop character and leaves a long bitter finish.
