Located in the rolling hills of the Farmington River Valley, the Brown Beard Brewing Company in Avon, CT produces approximately 2-3 barrels of beer per year, focusing primarily on ales & stouts, along with specialty, small-batch, and one-off beers. The Brown Beard Brewing Company has eleven year-round offerings, four seasonal brews, produces a handful of limited edition barrel-aged beers per year, and is expanding to include cellar-aged meads. Originally starting as The Humble Wolf Brewing Company in 2016, a more philosophical and traditional approach to brewing led to a change in staffing, a relocation, and a name change in 2017. As production increased, our desire to best serve the taste buds of the local community led the charge and we have not turned back since.
