Ruben AKA @properblack has been an instrumental part of our growth. I mean, seriously - we used to use logo stickers and a hand labeler. Since June of 2019, Ruben has designed every label that we’ve used for our liquids. Not only is he fast - but he has such incredible talent and can take our muddled concepts and turn them into absolute works of art. In an effort to show him how much we appreciate him, we used his logo and created a mead in his honor.

Monatomic Blueberry showcases the unique Cascade Mountain Wild blueberry. This particular varietal is grown at an elevation of 5,000ft and is best know for it's full-bodied tartness with sweet undertones and thick skins. FL Galberry honey was utilized for it's mild citrus and molasses undertones to target depth and complexity.

Post-fermentation, this project was transferred to one of the most beautiful botanical forward freshly dumped Gin barrels from Koval (Chicago, IL). Small format aging for 2.5 months resulting in a luscious mouthfeel and a finishing touch of spice and citrus zest sweetness. Read Less

In this mead, an absolutely reckless amount of two hand-picked raspberry varietals were used to provide depth and complexity. Black raspberries are closely related to the common red raspberry, but they have a softer sweet and mild flavor profile. Golden raspberries have more sweetness compared to their more popular counterparts the red raspberries. That doesn’t mean that they have a higher sugar content though, they just have less tartness to them naturally which allows the sweetness to shine through.

We topped everything off by using raspberry blossom honey and fermented with a yeast regarded for high alcohol tolerance, as well as its ability to enhance mouthfeel and emphasize fruity/floral aromas. Read Less

**We highly recommend decanting 20-25 minutes prior to consuming**

Ghost Particle is one of the most complex and evolving liquids we have produced. A blend of four unique regional wildflower honeys were independently fermented with four different yeasts. We utilized component blending prior to aging in a former J Wakefield Bake Kujira Maple Cognac barrel.

This is a spirit drinkers mead. Extended barrel contact time resulted in aromas of heavy oak, toasted marshmallow, and caramelized brown sugar. As this project opens up via decanting, the barrel heat dissipates and reveals a lingering maple candy sweetness that remains on the palate long after the liquid is gone. Read Less

For our third member only bottle, we took Blackberry, Black Currant and Black Raspberry sourced from the PNW and paired it with meadowfoam honey during primary fermentation. To further accentuate this base liquid, we opted for Gin-Ex Zinfandel barrels.

Tasting notes are dominated by juicy ripe blackberry that is compounded by the red wine presence imparted by the barrel. Balanced, bold, assertive. Read Less
