Fresh Hopper in that we picked the cascade hops from Evan's bines, allowed them to dry for 48 hours, then brewed with an extremely heavy hand of said hops. Dry hopped with another health helping of the same harvest.
Slight change to the original Wet Hop grain bill in that we added Crystal 60. Read Less

A true amalgam of @BVBCollective past, present and future. Winter IPA bolsters our classic IPA grain bill by adding a relative ton of Crystal malt to our signature blend of 2 row Pale, Vienna and Munich malted barley. Hop bursting with our favorite Pacific North West aromatic hops on top of a complexity building 1st wort hop addition and a solid bittering hop addition gives the hop heads their fix while maintaining that well rounded hop character intrinsic to BVBC IPA's.
Of course we couldn't stop there. We split the batch and ramped up the hop aroma with a contrasting dry-hop addition in each- X-34 gets the new comer - Mosaic.

Harvest Ales are not easy but in our second ever attempt (remember PDX2PHL from Harvest 2013?) we partnered with a new friend and local hop rancher and, with the help of goddess Wyeast, we created a subtle masterpiece.
Brewed just 90 minutes after picking the juicy Cascade buds from the bine, we smashed this brew with Mash hops, Sparge hops, Bittering hops, Whirlpool hops, AERATION HOPS (cold side into fermenters) and, of course, an S-ton of dry hops.
