In a goblet. Pours amber and cloudy. Lacy foam disperses in a ring. Aroma has vague lemon peel and perhaps pepper. Carbonation is gentle. Tasty bite but ends a little bitter and astringent.

Def in the right ballpark in terms of funky aroma. The head is somewhat disappointing, but that may improve with age. Flavor is definitely evolving at about 10-12 weeks.

In the aroma the yeast asserts itself but there is a note of dankness and some citrus. The sip has a chewy character, sweetness and mostly banana with spice in the background. The finish has hop flavor and a slightly astringent bitterness.

The bomb. Coconut may be overkill in this already super-tasty malty-caramelly ale.

Aroma of banana, raspberry, and Belgian-y yeast. Bone dry. Effervescent. Mouthfeel ends quickly with the bubbles. Finish is long and has an assertive bitterness. Quite good overall. Clean, no defects.
