It is made with plenty of malt and a ridiculous amount of hops.

We’ve sourced malts and hops from around the globe to make our mighty IPA in the American style, so expect huge hop aromatics, rich malt flavour and a huge hit of lip smacking hop bitterness

A new world pale ale inspired by the American Pacific North-West styles, this beer is made with premium malts and a selection of hops from three continents.
With a generous malty profile, lots of aromatic hop characters and a good lick of hop bitterness, it is very moorish leaving you wanting to have another.

We are constantly tweaking the hops, maintaining the bitterness level but utilising new varieties to give our pale more aromatics and flavour. Read Less

Our Hell Hound India Black Ale is a dark, brooding brew, melding together two of our favourite styles.

Not this hell hound, its rich layers of dark malt and huge hit of lip smacking hop bitterness, and aroma, will seal your fate at first glance.

Double or Imperial IPA is a hopheads dream, layer upon layer of hops consuming the palate with the aggression of a junkyard dog. It’s no secret at Black Dog Brewery we are mad about hops and this brew is what its all about. We used bucket loads of our favourite Australian and American hops to meld this potent elixir together. Held together by a mix of base crystal malts. If you’re not a fan of big hoppy and bitter brews, keep at bay this brew is not for the faint hearted. Beware Junk Yard Dog.

We selected our favourite malts, rolled oats and Aussie hops to give a smooth rich brown ale but didn't stop at that adding 8 kilos of freshly roasted Four Rascals coffee specially blended for us. On the hop front, the Enigma is joined by fellow Aussie hops Ella, Topaz, Vic Secret and Cascade – all added late on for maximum flavour and to give subtle hints of hop aromatics on the nose but still restrained enough to let the malt shine. We have always been fans of Belgian style brews, the styles just seem to have so much complexity. This limited release beer we have tried to put a local feel to a Belgian dark ale, using local Astra hops grown literally 30 minutes from the brewery. We combined these locals hops with Belgian and German malts and a specially selected Belgian yeast strain and our Warby Range water.

Rich chewy malt on both the palate and aroma, with subtle spicy hop notes and fruity yeast characters from the higher temperature fermentation.
