We make real cider from local apples. Our apples come from local gardens and orchards and would otherwise go to waste. We take unwanted or unsellable apples and pears and give them a second life.
We swap donated apples for finished cider, for work in kind and on one memorable occasion for an old trailer.
We try to add nothing to our ciders and perry, blending fruit as we press it and leaving it for a really long time*. Sometimes we might sweeten a batch if the blend is too harsh. If it’s feisty batch we sometimes add sulphites when we bottle to prevent unwanted after-sale explosions…** Show Less
