Request a DemoB Lucas is drinking a Bourbon County Brand Stout (2015) 13.7% by Goose Island Beer Co. at The War Room
Slightly more 'nilla in this guy and the dark fruits are present. Bourbon is nice...this year's is the best fresh-tasting.
B Lucas is drinking a Tesseract by Grimm Artisanal Ales at The War Room
Last of my 6-pack. Dig this brew a lot.
B Lucas is drinking a Bourbon County Brand Stout Backyard Rye (2013) by Goose Island Beer Co. at The War Room
Just over 2 years old. Dark fruit up front, jammy berries on the finish. Fantastically balanced. A true delight!
B Lucas is drinking a 200-Watt by SingleCut Beersmiths at The War Room
Fresh batch. The best William SC has. Not terribly sweet for a triple. In their top 5 brews. Growlrrr and first time using the teku
B Lucas is drinking a Brown Shugga' (2015) by Lagunitas Brewing Company at The War Room
From previous notes, always got a pine hop finish. But, this is a malty beast through and through.
B Lucas is drinking a Sit Down Son by Carton Brewing Company at The War Room
In the upper echelon of beer names. Taste-wise, decently hopped session lager. Light up front with a decent hop finish.
B Lucas is drinking a Two Evil: Geyser Gose by Two Roads Brewing Company at The War Room
Pretty solid gose. Nicely salty. I dig a tart pop, though. Overall, not bad
B Lucas is drinking a Freaktoberfest: Big Ol' Pumpkin Ale by Coney Island Brewery at The War Room
Dig the espresso pop...but it overpowers any pumpkin. Not necessarily a complaint...
B Lucas is drinking a Pulse Wave by Grimm Artisanal Ales at The War Room
C'Mon US! I think I've had about 5 of these today...to go with the 6 Double Galaxies...
B Lucas is drinking a Pulse Wave by Grimm Artisanal Ales at The War Room
Pulsing x 2. Don't get all the Equinox hate. 'tis solid
bob english: Haven't tried this yet (got a couple today tho) but I agree. I'm a lover of all hops
B Lucas is drinking a Pulse Wave by Grimm Artisanal Ales at The War Room
Equinox tempers the usual Grimm juicy-sweetness. Exceptionally solid and drinkable dipa. Great stuff
B Lucas is drinking a Conehead by Zero Gravity Craft Brewery at The War Room
3rd one...solidly crushable, though I suppose it's not a session...
B Lucas is drinking a Conehead by Zero Gravity Craft Brewery at The War Room
Solid session pickup by a co-worker...cheers Ian!
B Lucas is drinking a Bourbon County Brand Stout (2014) 13.8% by Goose Island Beer Co. at The War Room
Syrupy licorice up front...but the bourbon finish is nice. KBS king of the night
B Lucas is drinking a Black Note Stout (2014) by Bell's Brewery at The War Room
Could it be that KBS is tasting better!? Bourbon may be better incorporated, but was digging the choco-ness of the KBS...dark fruits
B Lucas is drinking a Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS) (2015) by Founders Brewing Co. at The War Room
Although, to me, stouts have no season, it was a really nice 58 degrees today. Fudgy bourbon, hint vanilla. Tasting really nice
B Lucas is drinking an Ichabod by New Holland Brewing at The War Room
Faux-spiced-tasting 'kin brew. Not altogether bad.
B Lucas is drinking a Smuttlabs: Kung Fu Hobo by Smuttynose Brewing Co. at The War Room
For a kolsch, it's not bad at all.
