Vincent Yates: Pleasley pit? Part of the 5 pits trail??
Norman Wigley: Hi Vincent: it is at the northern end of the Teversal Trail, which has now joined with the 5 pits trail. The pit does form an independent charitable trust. Both head stocks and the winding house and its gear survive as the pics show. N

G/P(h). Lots of citra hops in this US style pale ale, says the blurb. It's not wrong. I am sure most folk will like it a lot
Vincent Yates: Re hops I think the clue was in the name! πππΊ
Norman Wigley: Too true but choice of beers was very limited. All I can say is that it was a new one for me
Norman Wigley is drinking a Mad Van Mild by Urban Chicken Ale at Pleasley Pit
VG/M. Great venue; great old time mild
Norman Wigley: This was my beer of the day and had sold out by the time I went to get another. Damn. A nice little festival is this, but not a stout or a porter in sight. A couple of bitters and one mild - all the rest were the inevitable pales of one kind or another
Urban Chicken Ale: Cheers Norman! ππΌπΊ
