Jonathan Y. is drinking a Breakfast Stout by Founders Brewing Co. at Phoenix Beers Showroom
Okay NOW I get it. One of the most highly rated Imperial Stouts worldwide, this goes a long way to explain the Founders Brewing reputation.
Christian B.: Okay, now I'm jealous. I've never been able to find that in California or anywhere on the West Coast.

Jonathan Y. is drinking a Porter by Founders Brewing Co. at Phoenix Beers Showroom
Second time around and it's growing on me... Make no mistake, this is a really good porter and explains Founders' solid reputation.

Jonathan Y. is drinking a Dirty Bastard by Founders Brewing Co. at Phoenix Beers Showroom
I think I underestimated the complexity of this beer first time around. It's a GREAT brew, but still not THE best Scotch Ale I've ever had.
Jonathan Y. is drinking a Double Trouble by Founders Brewing Co. at Phoenix Beers Showroom
I was hanging out to try this. It's good and malty, but you can really taste the alcohol which makes it quite sharp.
Jonathan Y. is drinking a Centennial IPA by Founders Brewing Co. at Phoenix Beers Showroom
Citrus, floral, nice and hoppy. I've found another go-to IPA to add to my list should I see it around in future.
Earned the Founders Hop Head badge!
Jonathan Y. is drinking an All Day IPA (Session Ale) by Founders Brewing Co. at Phoenix Beers Showroom
Huge, grassy aroma. Immediately made me think of summer. I can imagine drinking a few of these (all day) during the warmer months.
Jonathan Y. is drinking a Pale Ale by Founders Brewing Co. at Phoenix Beers Showroom
A great pale ale. Slightly more bitter than you'd expect, but big flavor.
Jonathan Y. is drinking a Red Cider by Kelterei Stier at Phoenix Beers Showroom
Definitely more wine than cider. Above average, but not remarkable. A good aperitif.
Jonathan Y. is drinking an Etienne Dupont Cidre Bouché Brut de Normandie by Domaine Dupont at Phoenix Beers Showroom
I prefer an apple cider to taste like apples and not apple-flavored sugar. This one did not disappoint. I'd look out for it in future.
Jonathan Y. is drinking an Ovila Abbey Quad with Plums by Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. at Phoenix Beers Showroom
I wasn't sure if "with Plums" meant bold or fruity... I guess it's both! A solid Belgian Quad, but the plum flavor is there in spades.
Earned the Master badge!
Jonathan Y. is drinking a Krøkkebic by HaandBryggeriet at Phoenix Beers Showroom
I had to Google crowberries, but I do enjoy a good sour beer and THIS is a good sour beer. I love the unassuming label when it's so good!
Jonathan Y. is drinking a Craftsman Oatmeal Chocolate Stout by Renaissance Brewing Company at Phoenix Beers Showroom
Remember this label! Wish I'd got a photo of it in the glass. I will never describe any other beer as "chocolate" after this. Lots of cocoa.
Jonathan Y. is drinking a Pernicious Weed by Garage Project at Phoenix Beers Showroom
Real standout from a great brewer. Tales of British apprehension and fear of hops made it even more enjoyable. Definitely my kind of beer.
Jonathan Y. is drinking an Enlightenment White As Wheat IPA by Renaissance Brewing Company at Phoenix Beers Showroom
Wow! A wheat beer I love. A white, light IPA that still has some punch. This is a great IPA and a great Kiwi beer.
Jonathan Y. is drinking a Hops On Pointe by Garage Project at Phoenix Beers Showroom
For a lager, with good malt flavour, it's got a lot of hops, while the champagne yeast means a clean crisp finish.
