Solid, but annoyingly served colder than I should have. Feel the price point is holding it back from me rating higher. It’s smooth as hell, but I like a little more barrel upfront.

James is drinking a Bourbon County Brand Backyard Stout (2023) by Goose Island Beer Co. at Habibi Deli

It’s very good. Not a fruit in stout guy with the exception of the stellar 2015 Regal Rye. This doesn’t live up to that, but was also substantially easier to acquire. Smooth, berries mute the boozieness a fair amount.
