Yeah, that’s real good. Juice = loose. Moose caboose, Bruce, deuce, hanging for a noose. You know?

The Sixth Peach: Dry Hop Cuvée (10/23/23) by de Garde Brewing

Al S is drinking The Sixth Peach: Dry Hop Cuvée (10/23/23) by de Garde Brewing at Roslindale

This is awesome. Best of the recent Keepers releases. Juicy and tart peach perfectly balanced by the sugary sweetness of the dry hop. Natural stone fruit, fairly heavy acidity but not too much. Really nice beer. 👌

Six years in the bottle. Still super jammy, fleshy apricot notes, fairly funky, bit of cranberry bitterness.

XIV Světlý Speciál by Notch Brewing

Al S is drinking a XIV Světlý Speciál by Notch Brewing at Roslindale

Awesome. Light, soft malty sweetness, big floral notes, balanced bitter finish. All of Notch’s pale lagers are great but this one of my favs in recent memory. Dangerous, hard not to pound this.

Spring by Maine Beer Company

Solid version of the style. Crisp, clean, nice floral notes with a malty honey sweetness. Light but really flavorful. Pretty sure this used to be an IPA but I’m OK with the switch

HORAL's Oude Geuze Mega Blend (2022) by Brouwerij Boon

Al S is drinking a HORAL's Oude Geuze Mega Blend (2022) by Brouwerij Boon at Roslindale

Awesome blend. Super fruity, tangy green apple skin and lemon rind. Frothy, lasting carb lends it a full mouthfeel. Funky, black peppery. Still fairly young so some slightly sharp edges but excellent nonetheless .

Dig this. Tastes like a light old school West Coast IPA. Hop blend is nice, sweet, fruity citrus. Super clean and smooth. Which I got more of this one.

Hazy tropical fruit bomb. Been a while since I had this one. The Alter beers aren’t my fav from Tree House but this is still far better most breweries’ hazy stuff

Ivy: Lavender & Spruce Tip Cuvée (10/2023) by de Garde Brewing

Al S is drinking an Ivy: Lavender & Spruce Tip Cuvée (10/2023) by de Garde Brewing at Roslindale

This is nice. Strong funk, good amount of herbal flavor from the lavender and spruce. Both flavors come through cleanly. And they both blend well, complement the Oregon funk. Very nice distinctly dG beer.

As advertised, Julius + coconut. 🥥 Coconut is really strong, a bit more than I’d like, it’s borderline cloying.

The Bellini (12/2023) by de Garde Brewing

Al S is drinking The Bellini (12/2023) by de Garde Brewing at Roslindale

Kind of an odd blend of fruits here. The white grape sweetness dulls the stone fruit a bit, more sweet than tart, notable acidity but much less than other dG stone fruit beers.

Nice light red. Malty and slightly sweet, notes of caramel and toffee. Crisp, clean crusher. Pretty sure I had this as a Black Barn release. Or something very similar.

This is great. Big pithy citrus notes, soft grapefruit and resinous pine. Frothy foam, good body, sticky icky bitter finish. Might like this better than Dinner.
