A: highly oxidized (aged in dark cabinet). F: ya, definitely past its prime. Having a really hard time getting past the oxidation here. Didn’t age it properly and it shows. Beer is lost (gave it a 4.5 rating fresh). Not surprising though.

A: medium-high oxidation (aged in dark cupboard) w/ toffee rich malt bourbon oak candisugary maple slight plum. F: rich malty toffee much less oxidation vs aroma toasty oak decadent malt/sugar cremebrulee bourbon slight baked fig grilled plum/cherry.

ERIC SMITH is drinking a Luponic Distortion: IPA Series No. 013 by Firestone Walker Brewing Company at Motel 6

A: lemonpepper lime/leaf crackery malt coconut whitenectarine. F: spicy peppery tropical underripe whitenectarine & great crackery malt subtle limeleaf/lemon/pepper. Not my favorite in the series, but still really delicious. Lots of dry fruity flavors.
