This is an exceptionally dark beer. But very very smooth. Brewed with honey and gesho. Has a smooth start and bittersweet finish

You've got no fear of the underdog, that's why you will not survive. Not my favorite Flying Dog but better than most brews

john rock: It's excellent. I believe Ommegang has another dubbel ale that I've had and it tastes very similar but still far above most beers.
