Another check in says "digging this more than the 9th anniversary brews" - me too. There's still the weird sorbitol / liquorice back note that I've noticed in other recent OH beers but this is very easy drinking for a TIPA and has lots of fresh OJ to boot

ET STAY HOME 5 - FROSTY WINTER EDITION by Evil Twin Brewing NYC

Creamy, sweet (ever so slightly too sweet, just needs some more zing from the passion fruit) mango and peach nectar. Delicious

EVIL FUSION - WINTER EDITION by Evil Twin Brewing NYC

Nick Hunt is drinking an EVIL FUSION - WINTER EDITION by Evil Twin Brewing NYC at Securing Western Pints

Sharp, tannic plums, zingy blackberries fresh from the bush, coffee grounds underpinning things, not sure my confirmation bias extends to chocolate soft serve though. Delicious, refreshing, nice to back off the ETNYC waggon

Surprisingly nice. Coffee's a great impy adjucnt, turns out it's a nice complement to pale ale pithyness as well

Fantatsic head on this, green strawberries and cream, cucumber. Unlike its anniversary brethren, there's booze heat as well. Spicy, peppery nose. Nice

Very nice, needed to lose the chill of the fridge and open up a bit, when it did it was dank, with plenty of ripe melon and mango. Drinks 3% lower, slightly sweet, touch of pith to cut through the sugar, delcious

Last but not least, definitely best until last, adjuncts all present and correct, big hit of spicy, warming bourbon, not overly sweet, touch of miso, very nice

Nick Hunt is drinking a #8 9th Anniversary Collaborative Triple India Pale Ale with Trillium and Cloudwater by Other Half Brewing Co. at Securing Western Pints

Juicy but not too sweet, hides the booze well, touch of unripe nectarine and that pesky sorbitol flavour. It's fine but it's kind of anonymous really, which is disappointing given the pedigree

I had high hopes for this but experience should have taught me better. Strangely muted; lovely vinous nelson nose from the can but to taste it's aspartame and booze. Time to call it a night; 7, 8 and 9 can wait until tomorrow

My eyes and belly lit up when I saw "Mortalis" as I have such a huge crush on them, and this scratches that itch. Coconut and maple for sure, defrosted strawberries, peach nectar. It's not actually as thick as I was expecting but it is very tasty

Creamy and dreamy. Sabro levels of coconut and a suprising amount of peach. Not a huge fan of the latter but the former is lovely
