It is an excellent dark lager. The malt is strong and the top hopping is done, especially well. As a result, the hops provide an accent without being overwhelming. It also has a slightly chocolate flavor.

I've revisited this saison and I believe it is even better than my previous evaluation indicated. It is exceptionally well balanced with a very good body. It has a bit of an aftertaste but that feature is offset by its appropriately muted fruitiness.
