After breakfast and some grocery shopping, I’ve dropped off K at lectures but decided to do some work at St Beeryard Stellies and have a beer before heading home! Nothing new unfortunately, so one of these Lactose IPA’s! Fruity and delicious!

Supper has arrived, decided to try the NEIPA…the usual description of fruity and juicy and hazy, leaning more to the tropical side, some mango and pineapple, but also herbal! This place is filled with memories of K and I spending time here a year ago!

Safely in Stellies, at my favourite St Beeryard with K for supper! A few new beers on the Dogtag Series…this is the Lactose version, fruity, juicy and hazy! Great stuff! Long trip, loads of stop and go’s!

Earned the I Believe in IPA! (Level 57) badge!

Oh my word, I don’t know about this…coffee and beer?! Not too sure if I like this…or hate it! It smells like coffee, but it’s beer, which is coffee flavoured…and a lager on top of that! Maybe it will get better…or not!

Not often I have a smoky, or Rauchbier, but this is light at 4% and rather tasty…and obviously smoky! Going down well with lunch here at the St Beeryard in Stellies with sister…a bacon and egg toasted sandwich for company! Spurs 1-0 up against Wolves!

Sister and I are at St Beeryard for a late lunch in Stellies and a new beer here in celebration of the ClubPadel courts which have gone up here…but sister and I are not up for a game, just beer! A lager, on the fruity side but light and enjoyable!

A last beer here before heading for the hotel. A Belgian Milkshake…a wheat beer with added lactose, so hazy and fruity with hints of banana and vanilla! Pretty crowded here, but it’s almost as if they’ve lost interest in the one sided rugby! (RWC#17)

An easy drinking lager, hoppy with hints of tropical and citrus flavours. A late lunch or early supper, but it’s going down well with a “Holy Guacamole” pizza! RSA just too good for Romania, but need to finish it off…like this beer! (NB 33/17) (RWC#16)

A milestone beer #1700 and it’s a Spring Bock Lager while watching the Springboks in Stellies at the St Beeryard…one of my favourite places in Stellies! A strong lager, malty and hoppy, a special edition beer for the RWC…cheers! (NB 32/17) (RWC#15)

Back here with K to fill in lease agreements for 2024 & sign documents, good thing I’m still around! We both enjoy the toasties here, but no new beers…so a hydration beer for me! Very hoppy, with tropical, citrus and almost earthy and herbal flavours!

Waiting in a cold and wet Stellies for the birthday girl to finish her lectures, and then heading to MB and the Gannet for a family birthday supper! Online work and a Porter, smoky, malty, with some sweetness there as well…chocolate? (Stellies Beeryard)

A beer with lunch in Stellies with K, after fetching her from lectures! A lovely, smooth, English IPA with earthy tones of hops, not too bitter! Back at the St Beeryard in Stellenbosch, no new beers from The Kennel out at the moment…hence this one again!

A hydration drink for adults in response to the Prime drinks, this is a play on words of one of the flavours…Icepop! This cold brewed IPA is obviously hoppy, with earthy, herbal and fruity flavours. Fetching K and her friend in Stellies. (St Beeryard)

Back in Stellies to drop off K, had to pop in at the St Beeryard to try the new beers! This is a very hoppy IPA, English style, with an assortment of floral, fruity and earthy flavours! Good stuff indeed!

Another fire on a wet cold day, this time at the St. Beeryard in Stellies. A new one here, a nice pleasant Neipa this. Easy drinking. Been a slow day chilling waiting for K, but it's holiday for me.

Wasting time in Stellies and decided to pop in at the Stellies Beeryard. A new beer on tap, a fruity and citrusy NEIPA…tangerine flavours! Cold and wet outside, warm with a fire going inside, almost time to head home!

Have heard so much about this beer, so finally getting to have it. This one is smooth and balanced in flavours for this cold IPA.No strong bitter hoppy flavour, but it is there on a lowered down level. The other flavours compensate. Its good, its on draft

Catching up with a beer that brother had. These kennel beer yeards are interesting concepts with their locatuons. Need one in JHB. As for the beer, interesting as its pastry porter. Cinnamon too. Porter flavour is there along with some berry sweetness.
