Ten years after bb date, this is still full of flavours. The smoky character from the cask is very prominent, but the underlying stout is intact. Coffee and chocolate mixed with sweet smoke and traces of dark, red berries. Happy christmas :-)

Seven years past BB, so how does it stand today? Coffee, prunes and milk chocolate aroma. Coffee, sour cherries and astringent cocoa taste. Still very much alive, but it is a real mouthful.
