Soft and juicy, plenty of tropical fruit, yet massive and dank. A really nicely balanced thing for its size. Also, they’re local, and the brewery’s logo is almost certainly Cthulhu.

I always thought O/W would do wonderful, clever things once they dialled everything in - Here’s the proof. Enormously complex, with aggressive, sharp raspberry giving way to mellow roastiness, smoothed further by the warmth of the whisky cask. Ingenious.Earned the Pride Month (2019) badge! Really proud of this! The malt profile is spot on, with a bit of roastiness and a ton of aroma. Trappist yeast esters are right in the thick of things, and a hint of citrus peel comes through in the finish. And it’s only going to improve with cellaring!

Not unlike a Top Deck lime shandy. Good as a nostalgic thing, but insipid by modern beer standards. The same effect could be gotten by sticking a wedge of citrus in the neck of a macro. The next unique beer wants to be a good one - I’m hitting 4 figures!
British Airways on board exclusive. Not unlike an easy going Elvis Juice, minus a big chunk of the grapefruit. Perfectly drinkable, not the most challenging beer... but given the audience, it doesn’t need to be. So in that respect, it’s clever stuff.

This is a grown up’s NEIPA - hoppy, dank and easy on the acidic fruitiness, which makes a welcome change from the endless juice bombs world + dog has been churning out.
