A DIPA and a stout? The hops just don't work/mask the malt too much. I think anyone rating this above a 4 is giving it a Floyds bump.

Very little blueberry. Not a bad stout though.

Adam Higgins: Yeah but after the barrel it just ends up really thin. Evil Twin Breaks are porters too, and they are like motor oil.
Jason: Actually Biscotti Break is a stout and Doughnut Break is a porter.
Adam Higgins: I'll change my example to Lil B, or Ballast Point Victory at Sea, or any number of not thin porters.
Jason: Lil b is def a crazy thick porter.

Nice little coffee addition to an already solid porter. It hides the roast a bit but has a nice full coffee taste throughout.

Light and a touch of sour only on the finish. Closer to a sparkling wine than a beer.

This batch is way good. He vanilla adds just an extra touch of sweetness, it's decadent.

Adam Higgins: I've liked 2 and 3, but they were pretty different. The bourbon barrel aged beans in the second batch was a nice touch.

Almost no head. Much less licorice than the 2013. Coffee and bakers chocolate flavors are present.

Really complex. Cognac, apple, barleywine, quad. It's either awesome or just too much.

Adam Higgins: I got boogoop, risgoop, majgoop and Oatgoop in 2014.
Ken M.: Ris was a good DIPA
Adam Higgins: They've all been good Maj was excellent. This is my least favorite so far.

Really creamy out of the bottle. The coconut is more subtle, basically perfect. Maybe as good as coffee.
