The event will begin at 11:00am with a litter pick-up around the Wedgewood-Houston neighborhood followed by sorting and diverting of litter from the landfill. At 12:00pm, we will head into Jackalope for a free pint, and a reuse art activity highlighting our commitment to keep Nashville beautiful!\r\n\r\nLast month we sorted 210 lbs of wast from the neighborhood, diverting 110lbs to recycle and compost. Cheers to that!\r\n\r\nThere are currently 100 million pieces of litter on TN\u2019s state roadways and it costs $15 million of TN taxpayer money to clean it up every year.
