My favourite beer of this trip so I had to have it again. The brewing is outstanding being very much traditional and yet it’s still modern but it hasn’t allowed all those trendy new hops to spoil the balance.

The least malty and hoppy red ale I’ve had both are somewhat muted. The ale is pleasant to drink but lacks flavour. I would imagine some would find this sessionable and very like ales back home in England forty years ago.

Can’t remember ever having a beer so brown and mucky brown at that. Good hops/malt balance with both very present in the taste and aftertaste. Really decent dark ale.

Hard Seltzers at best are generally a nice fruity drink which is alcoholic. This one is very like cranberry juice with some raspberries. It makes a change from beer but seriously you wouldn’t want to drink a lot of it.

Seriously good DIPA which could have only been brewed in Colorado. It’s got a certain type of controlled aggression about it but overall it’s so well brewed. The hops are plentiful and give one plenty to think about but you don’t need to just enjoy.
