Nice local pub with great Greek food but shit beer. Saw a random beer in the fridge and the barman gave it to me. From a microbrewery called Contrast and this looks like their only beer. Very curious! Perfectly pleasant malty amber lager.

Continuing the wander we are stopping in for a half at the famous Clissold Arms. No sign of the Kinks shrine, which is a disappointment. Also a disappointment is this beer. Far to sweet even for an international lager. The things we do for a new check in.

Making our way along, first time calling in here. Proper Kinks heritage, not evident any longer (there might be a small shrine tucked somewhere). I've chosen a flattering view here. The cider is said to be dry but i mainly get sweet and smooth
