Neil: Still quite smooth for being bottled on 3/16!

Good but lacking something. Thank God I waited 2 years this time. It could probabLy use another year even! Port smell for sure. Less extreme

Nice drying finish to a semi rich start.
Neil is drinking an Onyx Coffee Stout by Ozark Beer Company at The Cellars of Neilio
Woah buddy. Really really good. Hopefully I can find again someday. Smooth and complex cold brew coffee with a malty, slightly hoppy, stout.
Earned the Wheel of Styles (Level 6) badge!Neil is drinking a Dragon's Milk Reserve: Coffee & Chocolate by New Holland Brewing at The Cellars of Neilio
Smells great. Almost coffee BCS to me. But thin in appearance and mouthfeel. Certainly worth a try. May grab another to age a year.
Neil: Still quite smooth for being bottled on 3/16!
Neil is drinking an Ovila Dubbel by Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. at The Cellars of Neilio
Almost 6 months since I last had it. Smell is great. Taste is fantastic. But corks are tricky and this is flat. Hopefully the other 3 are ok
Earned the NC Beer Month (2016) badge!Neil: Still glad I could find it. Interested to see how the barrel aged version turned out.
Neil is drinking a Red & White by Dogfish Head Craft Brewery at The Cellars of Neilio
Got better as it warmed. Tons of orange peel floating! They could have held back on that by half and the Pinot would shine more.
Neil is drinking a Delirium Red by Delirium - Huyghe Brewery at The Cellars of Neilio
Better than I remember in Brussels. Starts sweet but dries and becomes tart slightly. Thinking the two years has dried it some.
Neil: Definitely not The fantastic New Glarus Belgian Red.
Neil is drinking a Fist City by Revolution Brewing at The Cellars of Neilio
Because TBone says so. Does it count if I made my own version and it is tasty? Fist City with a splash of fresh squeezed Blood Orange.
Neil is drinking an Imperial Stout X - Coffee by Boulevard Brewing Co. at The Cellars of Neilio
I'm not sure what people think is weird. Mine cellared, literally, is solid. Smooth coffee and chocolate!
Earned the Heavy Weight (Level 31) badge!Neil is drinking a Double Daisy Cutter by Half Acre Beer Company at The Cellars of Neilio
Apparently I didn't post last year's? The label was much better. Metallic, cool semi-water print DC's. Don't cheapen up Half Acre!
Neil is drinking a Monk's Elixir by Mikkeller at The Cellars of Neilio
As good as I remember when it was on tap. Really good. Weird that the label is dark but others are white?
Earned the Dubbel, Tripel and Quad Oh My! (Level 3) badge!Neil is drinking a Blushing Monk (2015) by Founders Brewing Co. at The Cellars of Neilio
Seems to have lost a little with time. Almost wish they would make a lacto or Brett version so the aging would add complexity.
Neil: Not on the same level as New Glarus's Raspberry Tart. But still good. Has dried a little.
Neil is drinking a Bomb! by Prairie Artisan Ales at The Cellars of Neilio
Expensive but worth it. Amazingly smooth at 13%, all adjuncts there and in perfect balance. Better than the barrel version.
Neil: Need to grab two more. Let me know if you want one Tbone. $10 a 12oz, but it is fantastic, so smooth, and 13%!
Tony DiGuiseppe: The heat would be lost on me. Wuss for chilis in any form
Neil is drinking a Bam Bière by Jolly Pumpkin Artisan Ales at The Cellars of Neilio
Wife ordered during our family trip to Northdown. Pretty solid.
Earned the Trip to the Farm (Level 7) badge!Neil is drinking a Higher Math (2015) by Dogfish Head Craft Brewery at The Cellars of Neilio
When you get past 12-13%, all beers seem to be boozy no matter what. Kind of weird. Reminds me of homemade wild cherry wine. Too sweet.
Neil: Really a fortified wine. Yet has that dogfish head smell all the warning yellow capped beers have.
Jeff Cope: I bet this one tastes a lot better aged
Neil: Yeah, this was only 6 months old. I'll be interested to see if my 2 year old World Wide Stout has finally calmed down, if not, I'm done.
Neil: With the high ABV Dogfish Heads.
Neil is drinking a Deth's Tar (2014) by Revolution Brewing at The Cellars of Neilio
I will be buying another and aging for at least a year. So so smooth now and yet all the great bourbon touches. WAY better with a year.
Neil: I think that the oatmeal helps smooth thinks out. Probably enjoy more oatmeal stout aged in bourbon more than typical RIS's.
Neil is drinking a Wigsplitter by 3 Floyds Brewing at The Cellars of Neilio
Just as great out of a bottle. This is how you use espresso in a beer. Only second to I&I's. Zero extra bitter the bean tends to bring.
Neil is drinking a Wisconsin Belgian Red by New Glarus Brewing Company at The Cellars of Neilio
Still awesome. This is at least 6 months old and tastes fresh. Perfect use of cherries. Tart, sweet, dry finish. Wow.
Neil is drinking a Christmas Bomb! (2015) by Prairie Artisan Ales at The Cellars of Neilio
Loved regular Bomb. But disappointed here. Maybe infection? Weird fishiness after taste. Wonder if they should have dropped the peppers here
Earned the Heavy Weight (Level 28) badge!K Mac: Interesting, I adored it. Wonder if you got a bug in yours.
Neil is drinking a Rye-on-Rye (2014) by Boulevard Brewing Co. at The Cellars of Neilio
I have no idea why people are expecting rye whiskey and nothing else. Fantastic with a year on it. So smooth and warming.
Earned the Sky's the Limit (Level 24) badge!Neil: Buying two more and aging 1 and 2 years respectively. Such a deal in my opinion. Apparently most people have not had Templeton before.
Neil: Than a fresh or even 1 yr old version, which is a good thing. Still not quite as smooth as I had hoped and Dark Lord provided.
