In honour of Serena Czarnecki on her 72nd birthday today, February 20, 2023. This brew is very light hued for a Dark Lager. It looks like a Vienna or Amber Lager, but the flavour matches none of those styles. This would be more apt in the Winter Lager

I'm having this as a breakfast beer since I forgot I had it last night when I was tasting Quads. While my memory is still fresh, I can say that this has a light hue like Ale Asylum Mercy. However, the flavours differ greatly since this was aged in bourbon
Mr Lizard: ...barrels. Because of that, the orange peel characteristic of this beer is overshadowed a bit unfortunately. Still, this is rather festive.
Mr Lizard: This is also much sweeter than the Kasteel Nitro Quad and Chimay Grande Reserve.
Mr Lizard: It's definitely candy sweet. It reminds me of Orval for that reason.

In honour of Peter Gabriel on his 73rd birthday today, February 13, 2023. This is currently the only UK beer I have on hand for the occasion. A delightful brew that pairs well with "Shock The Monkey."

This is more flavourful than the X 6.2 Red Ale from Crew Republic, however, that was smoother. The ginger is the predominant spice, but the orange peel is also faintly perceivable. It still posseses flavour of a Red Ale. Might this be superiour to Satan

The can states that this is a Winter Warmer, but it's classified as Old Ale on Untappd. As a Winter Warmer, it surpasses Anderson Valley Winter Solstice in flavour. As an Old Ale, it also surpasses Fuller's Vintage Ale, but this isn't as smooth. A 4.90*.

Fairly sweet. Some spices apparent in the flavour. Caramel maltiness. Relatively smooth. I don't believe I have ever tried this beer before. Decent. A 4.15* rating.

This has more honey flavour than the Central Waters Honey Blonde Ale consumed earlier. The blueberry flavour also comes through without completely overtaking the flavour of the Amber Ale. There's a hint of blueberry pancake nostalgia to this. Well done.

This is crisp and refreshing. I'd say that as a fruit beer, this has about as much fruit flavour as Hoppin' Garage: The Hills of Lisbon. Pours almost like the hue of water. Pale urine hue when in a glass. Some cloudiness. Interesting and unique.

Pilsner Tasting II. About as hazy as Breckenridge. The hoppiest. Not as crisp as Labatt Blue Light. The hoppiness was too great. A real German Pilsner like Bitburger actually seemed sweet by comparison. Decent flavour. A 3.30* rating. Groundhog Day!

Pumpkin Beer Tasting. Roasted malt flavour, but it was somewhat metallic. It's thin for a stout and even thinner for an imperial stout, which this claims to be. Not much pumpkin flavour at all. Far short from Elysian Dark 'o the Moon.

Pumpkin Beer Tasting. Darkest hue outside the stout. Pumpkin pie aroma and flavour. The sweetest of the sextet. Somewhat clear appearance. This was akin to drinking liquified pumpkin pie. This may surpass the Great Pumpkin from Elysian Brewing. A 4.35*.

Pumpkin Beer Tasting. Second darkest hue, not counting the stout. Somewhat clear appearance. Some caramel presence. More spice than O'Fallon. Certainly more body than Wasatch. A 3.95* rating.

Pumpkin Beer Tasting. Lightest hue of the group along with the regular O'Fallon Pumpkin Beer. Vanilla aroma and flavour. Clearer appearance than the regular O'Fallon Pumpkin Beer. The added vanilla gives this an edge over the regular version. A 3.85*.

Pumpkin Beer Tasting. Lightest hue. Somewhat cloudy appearance. Some sourness in the aroma. Fairly light. Not as much spice as the others. Reminiscent of Baird Country Girl Kabocha Ale in that regard. A 3.80* rating.

Pumpkin Beer Tasting. Taking an impromptu trip to Grafton today, I found a trove of pumpkin beers so a tasting was needed. This has a clear appearance with an orangish hue. The thinnest consistency of the group. Sweet aroma. Spice is prominent. A 3.70*.
Mr Lizard: This slightly surpasses Swan Lake Imperial Pumpkin Ale from Hyouko Yashiki no Mori Brewery.
