Citrus pith aroma; taste is charred, slightly sweetened, grapefruit segments; aftertaste is reminiscent of pasteurised grapefruit pith & zest, atop overly acidulated malt.

Lime jelly on burnt toast aroma; taste is roses lemon & lime marmalade atop toasted rye bread; aftertaste is bitter lime jelly. It has come a long way, and changed greatly; I can’t guess what it was like fresh, so unrated, would be 3.5/5.

Clean, sultana-y malts on the nose; taste is caramel & a little Diacetyl (acceptable in a lager) floating atop crisp, v slightly nutty, malts; aftertaste is runny caramel, light peach & nutty malt. Between a Helles & a Pilsner, but well constructed.

Freshly picked apricot pulp on the nose (including the characteristic furry skin aroma); taste is (acidulated malt) tart apricot pulp atop heavy, bready malt; amidst the tangy fruit, funk from the yeast presents, albeit briefly. 04.19.17
