Not cloying at all...surprisingly bitter finish.
Phil Cottrell is drinking a Citricity Grapefruit Zest IPA by Phillips Brewing & Malting Co. at The Alley
Growler. The grapefruit zest goes remarkably well with the standard Phillips IPA base.

When all you ask for is a Europilsner :)
Phil Cottrell is drinking a California Lager by Anchor Brewing Company at The Alley
Firm body, peppery hops. A unique lager.
Phil Cottrell is drinking a Bizarro by Phillips Brewing & Malting Co. at The Alley
Nice example of the style, refreshing and a good change 'o pace for Phillips.
Phil Cottrell is drinking a Pucker Plucker Sour Cherry Ale by Phillips Brewing & Malting Co. at The Alley
As advertised, sour cherry pie :) Nice finish too. One of Phillips better seasonals for a while.
Debbie Cottrell is drinking a Solaris by Phillips Brewing & Malting Co. at The Alley
Phil Cottrell is drinking a Sparkling Ale by Coopers at The Alley
One of my favourite ales. Bottle conditioned from Down Under. Fruity and hoppy.

Phil Cottrell is drinking a Creepy Uncle Dunkel by Moon Under Water Brewery | Pub | Distillery at The Alley
First time I've had it from a can - very tasty but almost uncarbonated.
Phil Cottrell is drinking a Long Hammer IPA by Redhook Brewery at The Alley
Not as hoppy as expected, more in the aroma. Very drinkable tho.
Phil Cottrell is drinking a La Fin du Monde by Unibroue at The Alley
When everything is taken into account, this is the best value for a great ale (in a 6 pack). Warming and essential. Buy it.
Nicely balanced. 6% ABV, not 9%. Just sour and darkly malty enough on the palate.
